Water Damage
Water damage occurred a medical office building when several sections of the roof were torn away during a horrendous thunderstorm. A tremendous amount of rainwater was allowed to flow into the interior of the facility as can be seen in the before photo. SERVPRO was contacted during the storm to place tarps on the sections of roof that had been torn away. We were then contracted to mitigate the entire water damage situation. We began by bringing in a trailer mounted water extraction unit to clean up the water. Even though there was standing water, we were able to extract the water from the commercial grade carpeting without removing it. The next step was drying the affected surfaces with the help of commercial air movers and dehumidifiers.
